DIRECTOR OF TRANSPORTATION BRAMPTON, ONTARIO One of Canada’s Best Managed Companies has an immediate opening for a Director of Transportation. As Director of Transportation, you will be responsible for establishing fleet strategy, managing budgets, and leading a team of managers, supervisors and drivers, promoting company culture and providing vision for your team. The company does a lot of complex transportation with highly perishable, sensitive product, so experience with produce, flowers, refrigerated, or similar is required. Many of their systems are outdated, and we are looking for someone who can take a lead role in updating systems and processes. QUALIFICATIONS: • 10+ years of transportation management experience. • Senior leadership experience; proven ability to bring value through strategic collaboration with a senior management team. • Experienced with CVOR compliance, dispatch software, routing software. • Experienced with fleet management budgets, including equipment, maintenance and fuel. • Experience managing in a unionized environment is a must., • University Degree and professional designation CCLP (CITT) preferred.
