Industrial Sales Account Manager

Overview
The Outside Sales Account Manager is a farmer vs. a hunter in the organization. They are responsible for planting seeds and cultivating awareness in the market. We are looking for a skilled sales rep who can promote the solutions offered by a premium provider of industrial tooling and equipment.
In this position, you will be working in the territory and calling on production/manufacturing based customer prospects. You will become aware of the resources maintenance and production oriented industrial customers require to perform their work at optimal ability. This position has limited office time. You are expected to be in the field as much as possible, and you will be provided a vehicle, computer, and phone. For any overnight travel required regionally, a per diem and hotel accommodation is paid for by the company.
Compensation of 80-90K salary with a bonus up to 15%. Also includes vehicle, computer, phone and good benefits with stock options.

Requirements
· The ability to provide excellent customer relations while keeping a positive attitude
· Experience selling construction equipment, building products, or industrial tooling is an asset
· Experience in Microsoft applications, specifically: Outlook, Word, and Excel
· Attention to detail and effective paperwork organization
· A self-starter, with a keen sense of time-management and effective planning skills
· Good communication and people skills, and the desire to work effectively within a team environment
· Ability to cater to customer schedules, after-hour events and emergencies, as well as on-call schedules
· Familiarity with the territory
· A clean driver's abstract is mandatory
