Bilingual HR Business Partner, Canada 馃毃
Our client, Mitsubishi HC Capital Canada is seeking a Bilingual (English/French) Human Resources Business Partner to collaborate closely with business leaders, drive people-first initiatives, and ensure the HR programs and policies support Mitsubishi鈥檚 mission and compliance standards across their Canadian and North American operations.

BILINGUAL: Must be FLUENT in French and English

PLEASE NOTE: there are currently two separate HR Business Partner openings - one located in Quebec ( Trois Rivieres, Montreal or Laval ) and the other in Ontario ( Burlington ).

馃攳 Reporting to the Senior Vice President of Human Resources, you will act as a trusted advisor for assigned client groups. You鈥檒l oversee full-cycle HR functions including: recruitment, employee relations, compensation analysis, performance management, compliance and deliver innovative, compliant solutions that keep Mitsubishi鈥檚 culture and business thriving in Canada.

Develop strong partnerships with managers to understand business needs and provide HR advisory support
Lead workforce planning, recruitment, and retention strategies for assigned business units
Coach leaders on performance management, disciplinary actions, and HR best practices
Evaluate job descriptions, advise on compensation bands, and ensure pay equity compliance
Manage end-to-end recruitment, from sourcing and interviewing to onboarding
Drive HR process optimization and conduct benchmarking analyses
Build relationships with external partners (recruitment agencies, assessment providers)
Monitor and interpret federal/provincial legislative changes impacting HR practices
Participate in HR projects, implement performance metrics, and collaborate cross-functionally
Handle sensitive employee relations and disability case management as needed
Bachelor鈥檚 degree in human resources or related field
~5+ years of HR Business Partner or Generalist experience managing the full employee lifecycle
~ Must have full professional fluency in English and French
~ Hands-on experience in employee relations, performance management, and investigative best practices
~ Demonstrated full cycle recruiting expertise: sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding top talent
~ Comprehensive HR knowledge in both Canada and U.BONUS POINTS FOR:
