About You and the Role At Humani, we are a team of modern thinking HR professionals who lead with a growth mindset, operating as a connector across our team and those we support. The Senior HR Business Partner will be the go‑to person for multiple clients across multiple jurisdictions and industries. The ideal candidate is capable of helping a portfolio of clients with complex people and culture problems, by finding and implementing unique, customized solutions. You bring a Business Partner mindset and have a breadth of knowledge of HR employment law and employee relations in multiple provinces. You bring skills in client and project management, an attention to detail, stellar written and verbal communication, along with an ability to guide an organization, its leadership and its people through change. You should be a strategic self‑starter, but more importantly, process‑oriented and operationally driven. The HRBP will be responsible for managing change within a fast‑paced, dynamic and progressive organization, both at Humani and in your client portfolio. If this sounds like a great fit for you, we encourage you to apply What You Will Do Act as the go‑to HR Business Partner for multiple clients. Analyze the client’s current HR programs and design the HR roadmap based on engagement specifics. Ensure the organization meets compliance standards for the jurisdiction. Align HR agendas with labor law issues. Develop, review, and apply HR policies and procedures where necessary. Leverage data to inform key business decisions. Manage complex compensation projects, designing compensation plans based on market data and industry standards. Review HR software and processes, spearheading implementation when necessary. Design and refine performance management processes in line with best practices. Manage employee relations issues as they arise. Provide coaching and mentorship to management & employees. Create and deliver HR‑related training sessions. Attend virtual meetings with the client’s executives and employees. Act as the lead relationship manager between Humani and our client’s C‑Suite. Your Skill Set Employment Law & Legislation: Strong knowledge of Canadian employment law across multiple provinces. Union/labour relations experience is a plus. Analytical, problem‑solving and critical thinking: Quickly assess a situation, determine a path forward, and execute accordingly. Time Management: Actively manage time to meet deadlines and stay within the client’s budget. Responsive and flexible: Autonomy and flexible scheduling, while remaining available and responsive to client needs. Listening, verbal communication and interpersonal skills: Interact with clients’ executives and employees with robust written and verbal communication, influencing diverse audiences. Self‑motivation and discipline: Highly autonomous role requiring self‑motivation and timely completion of work. Organizational skills: Organized and efficient approach to solving problems and implementing solutions. Creativity: Outside‑the‑box thinking and flexibility to handle emerging situations. Unionized work experience is an asset. Who You Are Minimum of 10+ years of progressive client‑facing HR business partner experience. Self‑starter with strong project management skills and meticulous prioritization. Experience building HR systems and processes from scratch. Fast learner, high output, and high quality of work. Strong aptitude to adapt to new technology; excellent spreadsheet and presentation skills. Relationship management experience through client support or leading teams. Up‑to‑date on HR best practices and current market trends. Change management experience is a plus. Proactively identifies opportunities and implements solutions. Our Company Perks Base salary $90,000–$105,000 with potential to earn up to 10‑25+% of base salary through our annual performance‑based bonus program (total compensation up to $99,000–$131,250+). 4 weeks paid vacation, plus 5 wellness days annually.
