I am looking for a Financial Controller for my client based on the South Shore. This is a permanent hybrid position in Brossard. Coordinate and ensure the accuracy of monthly financial information for properties Present and explain financial information to the Director of Finance Analyze and interpret various financial and accounting reports Review and approve monthly and year-end reconciliations Coordinate the monthly closing process and adjusting entries Coordinate and review operating and capital forecasts and budgets Coordinate the preparation of audit files for annual audits Ensure the implementation of internal controls Supervise an accounting team (approximately 8 employees) Participate in assigned special projects, including development and improvement projects (administrative, IT, and compliance) Establish and maintain good working relationships with auditors Perform any other related duties of a similar or general nature. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role and in commercial real estate accounting Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business Administration, Accounting specialization Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation Excellent command of MS Office software, particularly Excel Knowledge of Hopem and/or Yardi Bilingual (French and English), both spoken and written PROCESS: Initial interview with Romane Dumaine, Recruitment Advisor, followed by an interview with the Human Resources Manager.
