Job Overview:

The Controller will oversee all financial activities, including accounting, procurement, and financial reporting. This role is critical in ensuring the company's financial health and operational efficiency, particularly in handling billing, payables, receivables, and procurement for parts and supplies necessary for the maintenance of industrial printers.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Manage all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, and Counsel.
  • Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements.
  • Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting.
  • Research technical accounting issues for compliance.
  • Manage month-end and year-end close processes.
  • Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
  • Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
  • Procure necessary parts, toners, and sometimes printers themselves as needed.
  • Oversee financial aspects of service contracts including the pricing per copy and billing based on meter readings, and invoice the customers based on this.
  • Coordinate with various departments to ensure smooth financial operations and effective communication.
  • Enter new customers in ACOMBA and new sales done for those customers.
  • Enter new service contracts and maintain accurate records in SERVEX.

Qualifications:

  • Proven working experience as a Financial Controller.
  • 5+ years of overall combined accounting and finance experience.
  • Advanced degree in Accounting.
  • CPA or CMA preferred.
  • Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
  • Experience with creating financial statements.
  • Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process.
  • Excellent accounting software user and administration skills.

Skills:

  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $76,491.58-$100,000.00 per year
