Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry is looking for a Human Resources Manager to join their operations at their corporate head office in Etobicoke.
This position offers the opportunity to have a leadership role in HR. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing all aspects of strategic human resources practices and processes within the business at the corporate level.

Partner and participate with the management team to implement change management and HR solutions in support of business strategies and initiatives
Develop, revise, implement and administer human resource programs, policies, practices and procedures that improve business performance and also ensure compliance, consistency and equity.
Partner with management and area managers to create and implement employee development programs to grow the talent of the organization.
Oversee recruitment processes from job posting to onboarding, ensuring alignment with staffing needs and company goals.
Responsible for identifying, designing and implementing training and organizational development initiatives that strengthen the effectiveness of staff, leadership and organization performance.
Ensures compliance with various legal requirements relating to employment law, health and safety, and insurance, as well as Policies and Procedures and handle all any legal matters that may arise
Coaching managers in employment related issues including human resource planning, performance management and discipline
Drive HR initiatives and projects to improve efficiency, employee engagement, and business performance.

Undergraduate degree in human resources Management or relevant field
Proven experience as an HR manager in a industrial environment
Demonstrated change management capabilities and experience
Demonstrated ability to build collaborative relationships with management and employees
In-depth knowledge of labor legislation and HR best practices.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to keep key stakeholders informed, make presentations and facilitate training
This position reports to the VP Human Resources.
