We are looking for a Senior Application Support Analyst for one of our clients, an investment bank set in Montreal

Role Overview :
The team is focussed on the development and operations of trading applications. The team align both with local (America) and global business lines. The team closely works with Finance, Risk and Management departments.
The teams’ ambitions are to constantly improve the systems used by our business partners, migrate legacy applications to a public cloud architecture and promote the growth and adoption of in-house data science platforms.

Key responsibilities:

The candidate will be part of an IT feature team (Dev and Support) in front of a trading desk. The candidate will work closely with the Dev team to provide the best services to our traders and help avoid or fix major incidents in production.

During the day the candidate will maintain the user’s ticket backlog using Unity. The candidate can also be contacted directly by users for live production incidents where you will need to use your problem-solving skills to troubleshoot the applications.

The candidate will perform the evening check to ensure the Production is stable before Asian markets open.

In addition to your day-to-day, the candidate will get the opportunity to step up and take your technology expertise to the next level by dedicating some time to automation using Elasticsearch/Kibana, Scripting, Bots, Autosys, etc.


Required Qualifications and Skills:

• 3+ years of relevant experience as an Application support analyst
• Advanced knowledge in SQL.
• Experience using Lunux and Unix
• Experience using Autosys

French : A strong asset
