Your knowledge, skills, and excellent service will help ensure that the buildings that make up Canada’s infrastructure fulfill the needs they were set out to meet.Modern Niagara is one of Canada’s Best Managed Companies and a recipient of SMACNA’s Safety Excellence Award Program (SSEAP), Canada’s Gold Winner for Canada’s Safest Employers Award in the Building and Construction category, and Excellence Winner for Canada’s Best Health + Safety Culture Award.Duties and ResponsibilitiesMaintain and update the Accounts Receivable subledger with accuracy.Process daily cash receipts and ensure proper allocation.Analyze and reconcile complex customer accounts to resolve discrepancies.Monitor AR Aging reports and proactively follow up on overdue payments.Communicate effectively with customers to address invoice issues and ensure prompt payment.Collaborate with Controllers to forecast cash receipts and partner with operations to meet cash collection KPIs.Contribute to ad-hoc projects and financial analyses as needed.Foster productive relationships across business units and within the finance team.Qualifications and Job RequirementsMinimum of 2 years of Accounts Receivable experience in a medium to large organization. Construction industry experience is an asset.Team player with a customer focus.Integrity and the willingness to take ownership of scope of work and associated issues.Proficiency with Microsoft Office (including Excel).
