As the Marketing Manager, you will play a critical role in developing and executing marketing strategies to elevate our three Senior Living Communities in Kelowna's brand visibility and community engagement.About The RoleWe are looking for a compassionate, innovative, and strategic Marketing Manager to join our team in Kelowna. In this pivotal role, you will lead our marketing efforts to maintain occupancy of our vibrant Independent, Assisted Living and Long-Term Care communities. Combining your creativity, relationship-building expertise, and strategic mindset, you will develop and execute sales and marketing initiatives, strengthen referral networks, and ensure prospective residents feel welcomed and cared for every step of the way. You will be instrumental in sharing the Baptist Housing story with the community and guiding prospective residents through tours and the application processes. You will also oversee advertising and community outreach while fostering connections with healthcare professionals, community organizations, and other referral sources.Key ResponsibilitiesSales Strategy & Relationship Management:Oversee inquiries, tours, and applications for a welcoming resident experience.Manage waiting lists and residency agreements with new residents.Effectively communicate community features and benefits to potential residents and families.Marketing Leadership & Strategy:Develop and execute sales and marketing plans, including events, advertising, and community outreach.Coordinate local events to promote Baptist Housing’s services and mission.Conduct market analysis to ensure competitive positioning and pricing.Oversee promotional materials and advertising across print, radio, and digital platforms.Referral Development and Community Engagement:Build and maintain referral networks with healthcare providers, social workers, pastors, and senior groups.Represent Baptist Housing at community events and strategic sponsorships to strengthen partnerships.Foster relationships through strategic sponsorships and collaborations.Reporting & CRM Management:Leverage CRM tools to track leads, measure performance, and generate reports.Contribute to progress updates and annual budget planning.Team Collaboration & Professional Growth:Work closely with your leadership team to align with organizational objectives.Stay current with industry best practices through ongoing education and events.RequirementsPost-secondary education in Sales, Marketing, Communications, or equivalent experience.Proven experience in marketing, communications, or related fields, preferably in Senior Living, Healthcare, Hospitality, or Real Estate Sales.Minimum 5 years of sales experience in relevant industries.At least 3 years in a leadership role.Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, including strong writing and editing abilities tailored to diverse audiences.Proven ability to drive sales and foster lasting relationships.Strong understanding of digital marketing platforms, SEO principles, and social media management.Proficiency with tools like Canva, Mailchimp, Google Analytics, and CRM systems.Excellent time management and organizational skills to balance multiple projects and meet deadlines.Critical thinker with problem-solving expertise.Flexibility to adapt to evolving priorities and work independently or collaboratively.Collaborative mindset with the ability to build strong relationships across teams and stakeholders.A positive, enthusiastic attitude with a genuine passion for serving seniors.Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle for work-related travel.About YouYou are a dynamic and empathetic leader with a passion for serving seniors and enhancing their quality of life.
