Our client is currently hiring a full-time detail-oriented and proactive Bilingual Logistics Coordinator (English/French) to join their team in Markham, ON. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring smooth order processing, customer satisfaction, and seamless logistics operations. You’ll work closely with internal departments, external partners, and customers to manage orders, resolve issues, and enhance service delivery.If you're someone who enjoys being at the center of operations—connecting with clients, solving challenges, and optimizing supply chain processes—this opportunity is for youLocation: Markham, ONJob type: Permanent | Full-time | HybridResponsibilities:Create and / process customer orders (EDI and email) via SageX3 ERP systemConsult with Supply Chain and Client teams on issues related to inventory availabilitySolve delivery problems, track and trace orders for customersConfirm orders, report shortages, and advise back in stock plans with customersAct as liaison between clients, brokers and customers to ensure mutual satisfactionDaily communication with carrier(s) for equipment forecast, appointment bookings, tenders and ensure service expectations are metDaily communication with warehouse and other 3PL’sMaintain and act on customer inquiries submitted through the central inboxAccurately update customer portals within appropriate time windowsProvide recommendations/solutions to improve overall serviceMaintain documentation of current customer requirements and proceduresAssist visitors to the officeQualifications:Excellent English and French communication skills, both written and verbalCompleted College Diploma / University Undergrad Degree in related field2 to 3 years of previous order desk/customer service experience in related field (logistics, supply chain)Ability to trouble shoot and problem solveStrong organization skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasksUnderstanding of freight / supply chain concepts beneficialTMS / truck load planning / logistics knowledge an assetAbility to work well within a team as well as independentlyAre you interested in this position?
