Position: Logistics Coordinator Location: Mississauga Employment Type: Full-time, Onsite Compensation Range: $50,000 - $58,000.00 Vacancy: This posting is for an existing, currently open position. Deliver the Difference with us: The Logistics Coordinator contributes to the overall success of the company by coordinating and monitoring logistics and administrative processes that support production and order fulfillment. This role focuses on maximizing workflow efficiency by managing schedules, coordinating closely with the warehouse and carriers, maintaining accurate logistics and production records, estimating timelines for shipments and projects, and closely tracking progress to ensure commitments are met. Your Role & Impact: Coordinating inbound and outbound trucking, including LTL shipments. Tracking all inbound purchase orders and coordinating with vendors to book delivery appointments. Preparing, reviewing, and maintaining shipping documentation (BOLs, packing slips, customs documentation as required). Negotiating spot rates and supporting quarterly contract rate negotiations. Arranging local vendor pickups in collaboration with the Purchasing team. Coordinating internal transfers between divisions. Reviewing and validating vendor order confirmations (including lumber mills), with the ability to expand this function. Communicating with lumber mills to confirm product readiness dates. Booking and tracking container shipments with CP and CN Rail. Tracking lumber direct shipments, distributing tallies, and processing invoices. Supporting additional administrative duties as assigned. Maintain vendor paperwork files. Other office admin duties as assigned. Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external partners. Good problem solving and analytical skills.
