Hours: 15-20 hours per week, with potential for additional hours.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Part-Time Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our dynamic team. The CFO will play a crucial role in overseeing the financial operations of the company, reporting directly to the CEO. This is a permanent, part-time position with a hybrid working model, allowing flexibility in managing your time between remote and on-site work.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement financial strategies that align with the company’s goals.
  2. Oversee capital structure management, including debt and equity financing.
  3. Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
Accounting Operations:
  1. Oversee the accounting department, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
  2. Lead the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and financial statements.
  3. Manage year-end reporting, including liaising with external auditors and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Compliance & Risk Management:
  1. Collaborate with legal counsel to manage corporate governance, contracts, and other legal matters.
  2. Oversee insurance policies and ensure adequate coverage for the company’s assets and operations.
  3. Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard the company’s financial assets.
Leadership & Collaboration:
  1. Work closely with the CEO and other executive team members to drive company growth.
  2. Mentor and support the accounting team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
  3. Engage with external stakeholders, including investors, banks, and regulatory bodies, to maintain strong relationships.
Qualifications:
  1. CPA designation or equivalent professional accounting qualification.
  2. Proven experience as a CFO or in a similar senior financial leadership role.
  3. Strong understanding of financial strategies, capital structures, and risk management.
  4. Excellent knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and compliance requirements.
  5. Experience in dealing with legal matters, insurance, and external audits.
  6. Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively at all levels of the organization.
  7. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
