This role sits within Northpoint Commercial Finance, a subsidiary of Laurentian Bank. Northpoint provides expert, flexible and personal inventory and equipment financing solutions to manufacturers, dealers and end‑users across the U.S. and Canada. Northpoint is a growing and dynamic organization which finances products that include Marine, RV’s, Manufactured Housing, Transportation, Power Sports, Construction, Technology, and more Our commitment to exceptional service to our clients makes us a powerful force in the market. Responsibilities Solicit new dealer customer business and grow the assigned territory from the current dealer customers through relationship management and organic growth. The position and territory include an annual budget for year‑end receivables growth. Develop and sell floor plan financing programs for dealers, including but not limited to presenting pricing terms, proposal letters and buyout programs. Secure and submit new dealer customers’ complete credit package which includes the credit application, business and personal financial statements, background information and overview of the opportunity and recommendation. Very strong verbal and written skills in French & English; negotiation and relationship management experience expected and required. Overnight travel within normal course of business in all regions of the assigned territory that may require extensive on‑the‑road periods. Sporadic inside and outside Provincial travel to various industry events or customer meetings required as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree from a four‑year college or university is preferred. Professional working proficiency in French and English languages required as position involves frequent written and oral communication on complex matters with internal and external parties in both languages. Ability to read and interpret documents such as marketing materials and credit applications. Ability to construct customer‑facing emails, text messages and any other primary methods of correspondence on a regular basis. Ability to communicate effectively over the phone with a variety of contacts including but not limited to manufacturer and dealer clients and potential new customers. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instruction furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Microsoft Office required specifically Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Ability to rapidly become proficient in the utilization of the customer relationship management software is critical. None for certificates and licenses and supervisory responsibilities.
