We pride ourselves on building strong partnerships, providing high ROI solutions, and delivering operational efficiencies that support sustainable energy practices.Hybrid/Remote - Canada/USJob SummaryAs a Demand Generation Specialist, you will be a key contributor in developing and executing strategies to generate leads and drive interest in Edgecom Energy’s offerings. Your role will involve strategizing, executing, and measuring marketing campaigns to boost engagement and nurture leads into sales. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to build brand loyalty and ensure the success of demand-generation efforts.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategy Development: Develop and implement demand-generation strategies to raise awareness and interest in Edgecom Energy’s products and services.Campaign Execution: Plan, develop, and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns (email, social media, digital ads, events, etc.) to generate quality leads for the sales team.Performance Tracking: Monitor, analyze, and report on the performance of campaigns to measure success, optimize tactics, and improve results.Lead Nurturing: Design and implement lead nurturing programs, segmenting audiences and delivering targeted content to improve conversion rates and move prospects through the funnel.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales, marketing, customer success, and Energy Market teams to ensure alignment and develop campaigns that resonate with target audiences.Market Research: Conduct research to identify and understand target audiences, market trends, and best approaches to attract potential leads.Project Management: Manage project timelines and coordinate deliverables to meet campaign objectives efficiently.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.5+ years of experience in demand generation, marketing, lead nurturing, or inside sales.Proficiency with CRM and marketing automation tools.Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and report on KPIs.Experience in designing and optimizing email nurture campaigns and digital marketing tactics.Experience in ABMExcellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across teams to achieve goals.Creative, strategic thinker who’s passionate about driving results and optimizing lead-generation efforts.Passion for the Energy IndustryEnergy Industry Knowledge a major bonusWhat You’ll GetMeaningful work with a purpose - reducing emissions and saving energy for a more sustainable future.Outstanding health, vision, and dental benefits.A competitive and comprehensive compensation package.A potential equity participation program aimed at extending ownership opportunities to employees.A small agile team where you’ll be able to make a real-life difference.The Interview ProcessStage 1: A 10-15 minute Qualifying Phone CallStage 2: A 45-minute Google Meet video call with the Director of MarketingStage 3: A take-home case study followed by a 1-hour presentation of your solution to our Marketing teamStage 4: A 45-minute Google Meet video call with a member of our executive teamStage 5: Reference Check, Education Verification, Criminal Record CheckDiversity, Equality, And Inclusion StatementEdgecom Energy is committed to creating a diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplace.
