Role Description This is a full‑time, on‑site role for an Insurance Broker located in Richmond Hill, ON. The use of the insurance broker will involve day‑to‑day responsibilities including consulting with clients to assess their insurance needs, customizing policy recommendations, maintaining relationships with existing and new clients, processing insurance applications, providing prompt customer service, ensuring coverage aligns with regulatory requirements and best practices, working collaboratively with a team, and meeting internal targets for client satisfaction and retention. Qualifications3> Strong knowledge of Personal Lines Insurance, Business Insurance, and Specialty Insurance products and policies. Sales and customer service skills, with the ability to build and maintain lasting client relationships. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal. Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Proficiency in insurance technology systems and Microsoft Office applications. Relevant licensing, such as an RIBO (Registered Insurance Brokers of Ontario) license or willingness to obtain it. Previous experience in an insurance brokerage or related field is an asset. Ability to work collaboratively with a team in a professional and dynamic office environment. Commitment to staying updated on industry trends and product knowledge.
