Business Development Representative

TechBlocks has built its reputation on a strong enterprise-focused go-to-market model rooted in Account-Based and Direct Selling. We are scaling our Inside Sales team and seeking an experienced Senior BDR/SDR with a proven background in enterprise sales, consultative selling, and leveraging AI-driven GTM tools to drive intelligent prospecting and pipeline growth. Reporting directly to the Vice President, GTM, this individual will be responsible for achieving inside sales targets while shaping and executing GTM strategies across multiple North American territories. The role requires someone with the ability to connect with senior decision-makers, understand complex business challenges, and position TechBlocks’ digital transformation solutions as enablers of growth. This is a North America–focused role with up to 25% travel expected for client events, industry conferences, and executive-level meetings. Key Skills Enterprise Sales & Consultative Selling Inside Sales & IT Services Sales AI-Based GTM Tools & Sales Automation Platforms Lead Generation & Account-Based Selling Pipeline Development & New Business Acquisition Strategic Prospecting & Client Engagement Responsibilities Own and manage the inside sales process, with accountability for lead generation and qualified pipeline growth in assigned North American territories. Apply a consultative selling approach to understand client needs, business challenges, and decision-making frameworks. Utilize AI-driven GTM platforms, CRM, and sales intelligence tools to optimize outreach, personalize messaging, and accelerate prospect engagement. Partner closely with GTM leadership and onshore sales teams to convert opportunities into long-term enterprise accounts. Conduct research and account mapping to build high-quality prospect lists and identify whitespace opportunities. Design and execute multi-channel campaigns (calls, emails, social, events) and track performance to refine future strategies. Collaborate with marketing to align content and campaigns for enterprise buyers. Prepare and present accurate forecasts (monthly, quarterly, annual). Represent TechBlocks at industry events, conferences, and executive client meetings across North America. Stay current on industry trends, competitors, and emerging technologies to articulate TechBlocks’ unique value proposition. Nurture relationships with prospects to progress them through the sales funnel to the deal stage. Requirements 5–8 years of enterprise inside sales experience in IT consulting, digital transformation, or outsourced product development services. Demonstrated experience selling into North American enterprise accounts. Strong consultative selling background with the ability to tailor solutions to customer needs. Proficiency with AI-enabled sales engagement platforms, CRM systems, and GTM automation tools. Proven track record in cold calling, follow-ups, and engaging senior executives. Willingness and ability to travel up to 25% across North America for events, meetings, and client engagement. Exceptional communication and presentation skills (verbal, written, virtual). Highly data-driven with strong analytical and research skills. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple opportunities simultaneously. Team-oriented, goal-driven, and adaptable to a fast-paced environment. Ability to take ownership and operate with an entrepreneurial mindset.
