Completes inventory audits, investigates variances, find root causes and report findings. Recommends improvements to warehouse processes to prevent inventory loss, improve quality and increase productivity.Maintains inventory accuracy, both physically and systematically by monitoring, validating and tracking inventory moves associated with all processesInvestigates and escalates inventory discrepancies, and strives to continuously improve procedures and processes to improve quality and accuracyEnsure accurate set-up and maintenance and adherence of warehouse management system including but not limited to item master, footprints, locations maintenance, replenishment, and cycle countsSchedules, coordinates and performs planned cycle counts, count near zero, and physical counts in accordance with internal expectations and customer requirementsInvestigates inventory variances, adjusts inventory records if necessary, determines root cause and recommends corrective actionCoordinates control of damaged and defective products, and customer claims, ensuring any inventory changes are accounted for and properly processed to the expectations of the customerCommunicate with managers, supervisors, and customer regarding inventory issues including the existence, cause, and resolution of inventory variancesAssist where necessary in training team members on inventory SOPsOther tasks as assigned.EDUCATION:Completion of secondary school diploma preferred or the equivalent in combination of education and experienceCollege diploma in Logistics Management is an assetEXPERIENCE:Five (5) years warehouse experience, with three (3) years in inventory controlPrevious experience with Warehouse Management Information System (WMS)Why Join UsWork in an environment where safety is our first priorityThe opportunity to build a career with a growing companyMedical, dental, and vision coverage for you and your familyLife and disability insuranceWellness programs to support your family’s well-beingA Retirement Savings Program with a company matchEmployee Appreciation DayCompany sponsored social eventsCommunity volunteeringWe are an equal opportunity employer committed to building and fostering a diverse workplace where people feel included and valued.
