We are currently looking for a full-time, permanent **Inventory Control Specialist** for our Brampton office.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Administer the replenishment of inventory of assigned suppliers and product lines utilizing Cloud Analytics.
- Participate and contribute in the SIOP (S&OP) process.
- React to all purchasing, cancellation, and other Cloud Analytics (CA) alerts within the agreed upon time frames.
- Facilitate update of key replenishment drivers such as Lead Time and Safety Stock to maintain inventory turns, fill rates and levels and to reflect changes as they occur.
- Facilitate updating of production and shipping dates to standard.
- Work proactively to prevent aged inventory by continually identifying and resolving causes. This includes utilizing the Cloud Analytics tools to identify slow moving inventory and opportunities for clearance for the Product Managers.
- Review and arrange update of stocking vs. non-stocking status and stocking matrix changes as indicated by the Cloud Analytics tool in an agreed upon timeframe.
- Co-ordinate with suppliers the delivery of inventory while balancing the physical constraints of Logistics and Warehouse Operations capabilities.
- Consult and co-ordinate with Marketing and Demand Planners on product and supplier issues as necessary.
- Provide effective interface between Supplier, Customer Service, Logistics and Operations.
- Maintain professional working relationships with all assigned suppliers.
- Monitor and manage suppliers’ ability to perform on all key measurement points such as: on time delivery; accurate ETA information; effective notification of changes of delivery, packaging, and pricing. While updating key stakeholders such as demand Planners, Marketing (Product Managers and/or Assistant Product Managers) of relevant changes.
- Ensure inbound supplier documents packaging information match our ERP and all other internal systems and shared with applicable stakeholders. With a goal of preventing Inventory cost variances.
- Accountable for Supplier direct customer order management and fulfillment.
- Manage supplier returns, including debiting the supplier and ensuring that inventory is removed from the system.
- Other duties and/or projects as assigned.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Post-secondary education in Business or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Prior purchasing/replenishment experience in a forecasting and/or demand planning environment.
- 2-5 years purchasing/replenishment experience in a forecasting or demand planning environment.
- Knowledge of SIOP (S&OP) planning process.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Comfortable with web-based software platforms.
- Advanced Excel Skills.

**Additional Requirements**:

- Proof of 2 doses of COVID-19 vaccination will be required prior to start date
