HRIS Analyst

J ardeg is seeking a highly motivated HRIS Analyst for a permanent role to be based in our Calgary, AB location.This position will be reporting to the Workforce Manager. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR metrics, data analysis, data manipulation, data cleaning, advanced Excel skills, and data visualization. You should possess strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to identify patterns and trends in complex datasets, while meeting timelines for scheduled reporting targets. As an HRIS Analyst, you will play a key role in reporting on business metrics to our stakeholders and supporting our HRIS Analytics team.Key Responsibilities:Assist in collecting, analyzing large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insightsAssist in creating custom reports and visualizations using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or PythonEmploy advanced Excel features, including Power Pivots, Power Query, Power Automate, Data Simulations, and Macros & VBAClean and preprocess data using a combination of industry-leading tools, such as Excel, OpenRefine, or other data cleaning solutions. Help ensure data quality and integrity by implementing data validation and cleaning techniquesCombine data from multiple sourcesProduce scheduled and ad hoc reports to meet business requirements, ensuring data is accurate and replicableContinuously improve analytical techniques and tools to enhance data-driven insights in creating reports and visualsTechnical diploma or Bachelor degree in Commerce, Data Science, Data Analyst, or a related fieldKnowledge of SAP / Success Factors and HR processesFamiliarity with HR metrics such as headcount, turnover, attrition, organizational structure2-3 years of experience preferred in an analyst role or similar positionProficiency in Python and SQL for data queries and analysisAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft ExcelWorks well within a teamCOME AND GET YOUR BOOTS DIRTYWith a significant presence in the construction, industrial maintenance, and turnaround sectors, Jardeg is the largest recruiter of skilled trades in Canada.Annually, we support approximately 10 million hours of work and provide recruitment services for 10,000+ people.If you’re a tradesperson working in Canada, our position across commercial, infrastructure, and industrial construction, plus maintenance and turnarounds means we have more than just a job for you.
