Company Finning Canada Number of Openings 1 Worker Type Permanent Position Overview Effectively plan, schedule and manage service workload and resources to meet customers’ expectations for equipment service and maintenance. Responsible for the day-to-day operational requirements of the branch and to set the strategy and goals for the branch operations business plan. This role is located in Lethbridge working a Monday to Friday shift however will require flexibility to meet business needs. Job Description Responsible for the day-to-day leadership of staff, including recruitment and selection, orientation, coaching and mentoring, performance feedback, and supporting growth and development opportunities Support a healthy and safe workplace by ensuring that all safety practices and policies are followed by employees, contractors and on site customers Manage and monitor the work order process Continually identify and recommend opportunities to improve service to customers Responsible for managing service operations and assets to achieve best possible financial results, aligned with the corporate strategy and personal objectives Effective planning, management and reporting of service financial results, assets and facilities requirements Meet or exceed Service Work In Progress (SWIP) targets by effective management of workload and management of the Work Order process Represent the company in a professional and ethical manner and maintain effective relationships with internal departments and staff while maintaining confidentiality Foster an effective work environment which successfully contributes to employee engagement and the achievement of the business goals Qualifications 5 to 10 years in a mechanical service environment Journeyman HET would be considered an asset Minimum 5 years management experience in a dealership environment Experience managing in a union environment would be considered an asset Proficiency in MS Office Suite and service support systems Equal Employment Opportunity At Finning, we prioritize creating a diverse and inclusive environment.
