Position Details Echo NDE is currently seeking a Pipeline Integrity Technician to support our PLI division across Western Canada and the United States. Responsibilities Locate, identify, and interpret pipeline flaws utilizing various NDE inspection methods. Perform various examinations on live natural gas or liquid pipelines. Review pipeline integrity inspection reports, including assisting other pipeline integrity technicians with reporting. Set up, calibrate, and maintain inspection equipment. Conduct inspections on parts, following procedures established for specified inspection tasks. Evaluate results according to specifications and standards. Assist with various other inspection tasks. Organize and report inspection results & communicate results to the responsible engineer. Interpret, process, and correlate inline inspection data. Adhere to all company quality and safety policies and procedures. Requirements CGSB Ultrasonic Testing (UTII) certificate. CGSB Magnetic Particle Testing (MTII) certificate. PCN PAUT Level 2 or equivalent. Knowledge of the pipeline industry and, more specifically, pipeline integrity inspections required. Ability to manage and organize large and varied amounts of data. Possess good analytical skills and be detail oriented. Be able to communicate clearly in writing and verbally (English). Be able to pass a vision and color detection test. Possess a valid driver’s license minimum (class 5) with a clean driving record. Able to work well within a team environment.
