Position Details
Echo NDE is currently seeking a Visual Inspector certified in TSASK, NACE Coatings and API 510 to support their Western Canada Operstions.
Responsibilities
- Perform visual and non-destructive examinations of piping systems in accordance with API 510 standards.
- Prepare detailed inspection reports outlining findings, recommendations, and compliance status.
- Ensure all inspections adhere to safety regulations and company procedures.
- Provide recommendations for repairs or replacements based on inspection findings.
- Verify materials and workmanship conform to applicable codes and specifications.
- Interact with clients to discuss inspection results and proposed remedial actions.
- Mentor junior inspectors and assist in their training and development.
Requirements
- API 510 Certified Piping Inspector.
- NACE Coatings Inspector
- TSASK Certification
- Proven experience in piping inspection, preferably in oil and gas or petrochemical industries.
- Familiarity with relevant codes and standards such as ASME, API, and ANSI.
- Proficiency in non-destructive testing (NDT) techniques and inspection methodologies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong commitment to safety practices and regulations.
- Ability to analyze data, identify issues, and propose effective solutions.
- Capable of working independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
- Willingness to travel and work in various locations as required.
- Possess good analytical skills, detail oriented.
- Be able to pass a vision and color detection test.
- Possess a valid driver's license minimum (class 5) with a clean driving record.
