Supervisor - Pipeline Integrity

**Type: Full Time, Hourly**
**Key Responsibilities**:
- On-site implementation and monitoring of Barrier Group’s HSE Programs
- Lead tailgate safety meetings with company and/or third-party contractor employees
- Oversee site crews, including operations, swampers, labourers, and contractors
- Liaise with Site Superintendent to ensure work is being carried out according to scope
- Supervise excavation/construction activities on site, ensuring tasks are completed on schedule, within budget and in accordance with Barrier Group’s safety policies and procedures
- Assess manpower, equipment and material needs for each work scope
- Ensure QA/QC documentation is properly completed and submitted from the field
- Train/mentor junior field staff
- Assist with other duties as required
**Required Qualifications**:
- Minimum of 5 years of previous experience working as a Foreman
- Highschool Diploma or equivalent is required
- Deep knowledge of and experience with facility operations and oil and gas industry
- Valid class 5 driver’s license (clean abstract) with own transportation
- Valid CSTS-09 or CSTS-2020
- Valid BSO Certification
- Valid WHMIS 2015 certification
- Valid TDG certification
- Valid Ground Disturbance certification
- Valid First Aid certification
- Valid H2S Alive certification
- Willing and able to learn, develop and train new or junior employees
**Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities**:
- Strong interpersonal skills, and an ability to participate positively in an engaging culture
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must be able to organize and plan tasks, with an ability to adapt to changing priorities
- Must be dependable
- Effective attention to reading ISO and P&ID’s
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
