Role Impact The HR Coordinator supports the daily operations of the HR department supporting the Total Rewards team. This includes but is not limited to providing support to programs related to pension and benefit, employee recognition, disability management and HR Systems. What you will deliver Benefits Administer CF’s benefit processes including preparing monthly Health Care / Personal Spending Account Reports, updating HRIS and carrier website data, coordinating continuation of benefits coverage and running quarterly audit reports Support the administration of the Disability Management Program: initiating the LTD process, running monthly WCB reporting Create and issue documents to beneficiaries for active employee deaths and coordinating payments with the insurance carriers Support year-end activities: Annual HSA / PSA Allocation Manage and execute CF’s maternity leave program serving as the main point in contact for employees, calculating top-up payments and coordinating with Payroll for processing of payments Support the annual company-wide Total Rewards Statements Serve as a main point of contact for employee benefit inquiries Pension Support the pension plan coordination and processes including preparing monthly pension plan enrollments and updating HRIS and carrier website data Preparing summary documents (i.e., contributions, expenses), requested reports from carrier for the annual CF pension audit Prepare and administer Pension Buyback paperwork for former employees Coordinate Year End Related Activities such as allocating Profit Sharing & STIP bonuses into the sponsored retirement savings programs Recognition Administer CF’s recognition programs including the execution of Building Excellence, Milestone Awards, and the annual CEO Awards of Excellence Program Updating the Milestone Page on CF Mosaic HR Systems Troubleshoot and support employees experiencing difficulties logging into HR Systems Create and maintains appropriate documentation and user training in support of HR Systems applications Support with UKG training on Time and Attendance to Property Administrators, Managers and Supervisors Maintain the accuracy and data integrity of the Human Resource Information System by running an array of reports and conducting regular audits. Manage the change request form process to ensure user requirements and change requests are reviewed and approved. Ensure IT General Controls are adhered to for access, changes, and incidents Support case management by monitoring progress, handling escalations and assisting in the resolution of system issues Process all HR systems – related invoices Other General Support Coordinate annual Total Rewards Statements Manage, triage, monitor and respond to HR /TR Support Line and TR Inbox Organize and manage team content on the company intranet Provide support to other TR initiatives and processes as required What your strengths are Professional, approachable, and responsive with a positive work attitude with ability to work with all levels of management Excellent client service orientation Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail Ability to effectively prioritize and multi-task Strong team player Can operate independently with initiative and minimal direction Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including proofreading, grammar, and punctuation Flexible working style What you need to succeed Post-secondary education in Business or diploma in Human Resources Management Working towards a CHRP designation an asset Minimum 2 years related work experience, preferably in Human Resources supporting the Total Rewards function Previous experience in handling confidential and sensitive information Computer literate with proficient skills in Microsoft Office applications (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Gmail Previous experience using a HRIS system preferred Bilingual (French/English) would be considered an asset Starting base salary for this job level may range from $49,103 to $65,471. The actual base salary offered will consider several factors including, but not limited to the role, experiences, skills & qualifications, location, market and internal considerations; with this context, CF reserves the right to pay above this range.
