Accounting Technician - Real Estate & Construction Location: Montreal, Quebec, Canada – Salary: CA$40,000.00-CA$45,000.00 (Posted 1 month ago) About GD LEAD The GD Lead Group brings together six companies specializing in the development, construction, management, and leasing of real estate projects across Quebec. The group also includes a daycare division, with five facilities welcoming more than 400 children daily. Responsibilities Completing the complete accounting cycle: bank reconciliations, journal entries, DAS, taxes, payroll/HR. Preparing monthly financial statements and monitoring ongoing projects. Managing supplier invoices and payments. Rigorous project cost monitoring: purchase orders, invoices, extras, actual cost vs. budget comparison. Collaboration with project managers for optimal financial management of construction sites. Updating management reports. Preparation of year‑end reports for auditors. Required Profile DEC in accounting or equivalent training. 3 to 5 years of relevant experience, ideally in commercial construction. Excellent analytical skills, autonomy, rigor, and attention to detail. Ability to work in a team and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strengths Construction experience.
