1 week ago Be among the first 25 applicants Some of what you will do: The purpose of this role is to lead and drive the development and execution of Master Data Management (MDM) initiatives across the enterprise, with a specialized focus on the Stibo Systems STEP platform. The MDM Product Owner is responsible for shaping the product vision and roadmap, ensuring the delivery of high‑quality, governed, and trusted master data that supports business operations, analytics, and compliance. Job Description In addition, the role will focus on optimizing the STEP platform to deliver business‑aligned and measurable outcomes through workflow configuration, custom business rules, and close collaboration with internal IT partners. The Product Owner will play a key role in translating business requirements into product features, bridging business needs with technical capabilities. This role plays a critical part in enabling data consistency, operational efficiency, and informed decision‑making across the organization. Specifically, You Will Own and execute the MDM product roadmap for the Stibo STEP platform, including design and customization. Translate business needs into scalable product solutions, balancing long‑term vision with short‑term priorities. Lead cross‑functional collaboration across Merchandising, IT, Supply Chain, and Digital teams. Establish and champion MDM governance, data integrity, and workflow optimization. Oversee data migration, cleansing, and onboarding of new domains using best practices. Ensure consistent merchandise hierarchy and taxonomy across digital and store channels. Communicate progress, risks, and value realization to stakeholders at all levels, including executive leadership when appropriate. Some Of What You Need 5+ years of hands‑in expertise with Stibo STEP MDM, including implementation, custom workflow and business rule configuration, and optimization. Proven experience as a product owner or manager in data‑driven transformation programs. Deep understanding of product, supplier, and customer master data domains including retail merchandise hierarchy and taxonomy design/management. Strong project management skills, ability to lead cross functional initiatives from concept to delivery. Excellent stakeholder and management and communication skills, with ability to influence senior leadership. Background in retail, CPGH, or large enterprise environments highly desirable.
