The Senior Product Owner will advocate for the users’ needs and will address their pain points, balancing the business requirements whilst monitoring market trends and the competitive landscape. This experienced professional has a track record of leading multiple Agile teams to ship products that are high in business value, on-time, measurable and are of exceptional quality.ResponsibilitiesSet the strategic product vision for an enterprise wide product platform through company-wide stakeholder engagementCreate alignment with the product vision across the various contributing teamsLead an Agile ‘scrum of scrums’ team and align multiple product owners to define the consolidated product backlogDetermine the best delivery approach for quicker speed to market and improve the process on a continuous basisCollaborate with product managers, design, technology and operations to co-create solutions that continuously improve the product and generate business valueOwns, prioritize, and maintains the product backlog as well as create user stories and their acceptance criteriaBuild platform roadmaps for initiatives and manage competing priorities, adjust for risk, and prioritize product backlogLead ideation sessions, workshops, and requirements gathering engagementsGuide and inspire multidisciplinary agile teams from ideation to executionCoach other Product Owners and be a change advocate within the organizationWork closely with change management on Agile releases, providing input into training content, approach and scheduleMaintain product ownership processes in line with best practice and introduce useful tools and practicesRequirementsMinimum of 6 years of industry experience as a Product Owner/Product Manager/Agile/ Digital TransformationUnderstanding of Agile product ownership principles with Scrum is expectedScaled Agile Framework (SAFe) experience is a plusCertified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) – an assetThrives in an Agile, lean and fast-paced environmentAbility to influence stakeholders on product ownershipAnalytical thinking in a sometimes ambiguous ecosystemExcellent verbal and written communicationEffective decision making, negotiation and influencingAbility to multi-task in a deadline driven environmentContinuously learning and experimentingThis is a minimum 6 month contract opportunity (work from home) located in Toronto, ON. #J-18808-Ljbffr
