The Product Owner (Cloud) will advocate for the users’ needs, balancing the business requirements whilst monitoring market trends and the competitive landscape. This experienced professional has a good understanding of the cloud/managed service provider market and is adept at determining market position and planning for market growth.
Responsibilities
- Set the strategic vision for the company’s cloud services
- Define Cloud product value-propositions, service descriptions, product features and pricing strategies
- Create alignment with the product vision across the various contributing teams
- Determine the best delivery approach for quicker speed to market and improve the process on a continuous basis
- Revenue management/forecasting
- Collaborate with technical architects to co-create solutions that continuously improve the product and generate business value
- Build platform roadmaps for initiatives and manage competing priorities, adjust for risk, and prioritize product backlog
- Maintain product ownership processes in line with best practice and introduce useful tools and practices
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of industry experience as a Product Manager/Product Owner
- Cloud Product Manager market experience – development of the Cloud product roadmap
- Leadership towards the Cloud building blocks including infrastructure, platform, and application management across multiple vendors such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, GCP, VMWare
- Excellent Profit and Loss (P&L) management skills
- Ability to influence stakeholders on product ownership
- Analytical thinking in a sometimes ambiguous ecosystem
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Effective decision making, negotiation and influencing
- Ability to multi-task in a deadline driven environment
- Continuously learning and experimenting
This is a permanent position with an annual salary of $100,000.00 – $150,000.00, located in Etobicoke, ON (work from home until deemed safe).
