The Senior Product Owner will advocate for the users’ needs and will address their pain points, balancing the business requirements whilst monitoring market trends and the competitive landscape. This experienced professional has a track record of leading multiple Agile teams to ship products that are high in business value, on-time, measurable and are of exceptional quality.

Responsibilities

Set the strategic product vision for an enterprise wide product platform through company-wide stakeholder engagement Create alignment with the product vision across the various contributing teams Lead an Agile ‘scrum of scrums’ team and align multiple product owners to define the consolidated product backlog Determine the best delivery approach for quicker speed to market and improve the process on a continuous basis Collaborate with product managers, design, technology and operations to co-create solutions that continuously improve the product and generate business value Owns, prioritize, and maintains the product backlog as well as create user stories and their acceptance criteria Build platform roadmaps for initiatives and manage competing priorities, adjust for risk, and prioritize product backlog Lead ideation sessions, workshops, and requirements gathering engagements Guide and inspire multidisciplinary agile teams from ideation to execution Coach other Product Owners and be a change advocate within the organization Work closely with change management on Agile releases, providing input into training content, approach and schedule Maintain product ownership processes in line with best practice and introduce useful tools and practices Requirements Minimum of 6 years of industry experience as a Product Owner/Product Manager/Agile/ Digital Transformation Understanding of Agile product ownership principles with Scrum is expected Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) experience is a plus Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) – an asset Thrives in an Agile, lean and fast-paced environment Ability to influence stakeholders on product ownership Analytical thinking in a sometimes ambiguous ecosystem Excellent verbal and written communication Effective decision making, negotiation and influencing Ability to multi-task in a deadline driven environment Continuously learning and experimenting This is a minimum 6 month contract opportunity (work from home) located in Toronto, ON. #J-18808-Ljbffr
