Position 

The responsibility of the Enforcement Officer (EO) is to enforce parking regulations, provide traffic direction, and support day-to-day operations of parking service delivery.

The EO is also responsible for assisting clients in a variety of ways using the highest standards of customer service, including providing information and wayfinding, and assistance in the use of parking equipment. 

Hours of Work - 6:00 am - 2:30 pm

Duties 

  • Enforces Parking and Traffic Regulations by issuing parking violation warnings and citations as required, occasionally arranging for cars to be towed 
  • Acts as a campus community ambassador by providing information and directions
  • Assists motorists in finding appropriate parking and using parking equipment 
  • Places traffic control devices as required
  • Directs traffic as required
  • Aids motorists in a variety of situations
  • Performs minor repairs/maintenance to/of parking equipment as required from time to time 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Grade 12 equivalent
  • Must have a valid non-graduated Class 5 Driver's License with a clean abstract

Preferred Qualifications

  • Related industry experience desirable, cash handling and customer service experience preferred
  • Previous exposure to parking technology is preferred
