As the CFO, you will drive our growth as the financial architect, overseeing all financial management and strategy elements.

We are looking for a visionary CFO to transform our approach to finance and propel our organization to new heights In this dynamic position, you will be crucial in transforming our finance systems and leading all aspects of SGI’s financial reporting and analysis, budgeting, accounting, investment portfolio management and actuarial reserving. You will also collaborate closely with executive leadership, providing strategic guidance and actionable insights to our corporate functions.

We hope you will consider applying if you:

  • Have a deep knowledge of financial measurement, analysis and markets.
  • Have expertise in strategy development and insurance industry practices.
  • Have expertise in budgeting, reporting and data analysis tools.
  • Possess the ability to build effective relationships and strategic partnerships.
  • Have strong analytical skills, including the ability to transform data into practical insights.
  • Possess excellent communication, leadership and project management skills
  • Want to leverage your leadership skills to influence change and innovation, like actively supporting SGI’s culture and expanding your learning.

Typically, these skills are gained through a four-year degree in a relevant field such as business, accounting, finance, or a related field and a master's degree. Minimum 20 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance, with at least 13 years in leadership roles. A Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation is required, and a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation would be considered an asset.
