About the Role
As the Chief Financial Officer and Deputy City Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial future of Regina. Reporting directly to the City Manager, you will lead a dedicated team responsible for managing the strategic direction and day-to-day operations of the Corporate Services division.
This is a unique opportunity to combine your expertise in finance with your leadership skills to drive positive change within our city. You will be responsible for developing sustainable financial plans, overseeing large-scale capital projects, and fostering strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Provide strategic leadership for the Corporate Services division, encompassing Financial Services, Land, Real Estate & Economic Development, and Assessment & Property Revenue Services.
- Develop and implement comprehensive financial plans, ensuring long-term financial sustainability and securing necessary funding for city initiatives.
- Lead transformative projects aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and aligning planning and budgeting activities within the City.
- Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders, including City Council, to ensure transparency and effective communication regarding financial matters.
- Champion a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the division, driving positive change and maximizing organizational effectiveness.
