Reporting to the Senior Manager of Corporate Communications, this role requires 5+ years of experience in People/HR communications to lead the development and execution of thoughtful, strategic communications that support KPMG’s business objectives across Canada.What You Will DoSupport HR leaders with internal and external communications expertise and adviceDevelop and execute impactful firm‑wide communications that support our employees and are aligned with our strategic prioritiesPropose people‑focused campaign ideas that enhance internal culture and aid in attracting and retaining talentEnsure communications are strategically linked to KPMG’s business objectives and firm valuesBring a proactive and solutions‑oriented approach while managing various projects across HR Centres of ExcellenceEstablish trusted relationships across HR, media, social, creative, IT and translations teams to enable high‑impact collaborationLeverage data and analytics to refine content strategy, measure campaign effectiveness, and continuously improve communication outcomesSupport with first drafts of various HR, BES (Business Enablement Services) and ID&E communications, as neededLeverage KPMG‑approved AI tools to optimize speed and efficiencyWhat You Bring To The RoleGreat ideas – you love telling stories and experimenting with creative ways to engage audiencesSuccinct writing style – you adapt technical information for a general audience and deliver compelling contentAttention to detail and the ability to tackle tasks big and smallInitiative, planning, execution and superior multi‑tasking skillsAbility to work in a fast‑paced environment while delivering high‑quality workSelf‑starter with proven ability to operate effectively and deliver high‑impact results across a variety of communication channels (including intranet, email, and social media)Dedication and motivation to push the envelope with creative techniques and deliveryA “life‑long learner” mindset and commitment to embracing new strategies and technologies to keep communications fresh, effective and impactfulQualificationsBachelor’s degree in communications or a related field (required)5+ years of communications experience, including internal/employee communications experience in a large organization and/or external communication experienceCreative, PR or social media agency experience is a plusExperience working in a professional services firm or matrixed organization is a plusExcellent writing and communication skills with a proven ability to use communications as a creative tool to engage target audiencesDesire to understand our business to navigate our matrixed environment and support KPMG’s priorities, employee culture and goalsFlexibility and ability to operate in a variety of settingsPay RangeBase salary range: $74,000 to $111,000, with eligibility for bonus awards.
