The Opportunity
TC Energy is looking to add Communications Interns in Calgary, AB.
We are seeking students enrolled in Bachelor of Communications in Public Relations or related programs to support the daily operations of the Corporate Communications team.
We engage our students in the very core of our operations. In this role, you’ll join our Corporate Communications team, supporting internal communications. Our team provides consistent, timely and accurate communications support and resources to our business partners across the organization. Along the way, you’ll share our commitment to continuous learning, improvement and process efficiency.
The term length is 12 months.
What you'll do
- Prioritize, troubleshoot and escalate incoming communication requests
- Activate our communications playbook by maintaining self-serve tools, templates and guidance documents and sharing with our internal business partners
- Assess, review, edit and advise on internal communications plans and content
- Collaborate and liaise with the broader communications and external relations team
Minimum Qualifications
- Actively enrolled in a Communications or related undergraduate degree program with at least two years of education completed
- Enrollment at an accredited university, and returning to school for at least one semester following your work term

- Experience working in a dynamic and challenging environment, and adaptable to changing priorities
- Ability to multi-task effectively, with strong organizational and time management skills
- Reflective and committed to continuous improvement and personal development.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong desire to learn and develop skills throughout the work term.
- Comfortable with web-based technology for managing incoming service requests and publishing communications.
