Job Responsibilities Lead and drive alignment of cross functional support for business strategy and tactical goals/planning performance measurement to advance BD effectiveness and market position. Align the business against a RACI model for RFP strategy (pre‑RFP to post‑RFP) to reinforce the best practice process. Support commercial success by defining and driving contracting and proposal proficiency that meets business unit targets (revenue growth and profitability), in addition to the customer’s needs. Build relationships with legal counsel (internal and external) to ensure support meets business expectations to draft and execute corporate agreements, supply agreements and incentive proposals in a timely and customer focused manner. Maintain familiarity with applicable contract laws, assess company impact and notify relevant parties (i.e., Law 17, competition act, etc.). Maintain familiarity with financial obligations/limitations involved in capital/consumable business support models. Lead and build a high performing team through employee development, accountability, and mentoring. Demonstrate and promote company values and leadership behaviors. Education And Experience Required Bachelor’s in business administration, health or life science, law, or nursing. 5+ years of progressive experience in proposal/tendering (RFP), pricing management, and contract/rebate administration within a complex commercial environment. 3+ years of proven experience leading and developing high‑performing teams, with a strong track record in coaching talent, driving performance management, and enabling sustained team growth. 3+ years of paralegal background with proven expertise in drafting, interpreting, and executing legal documentation, contract review, and compliance processes. Must be fluent in both French and English, with strong proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking in both languages to communicate and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including in Quebec. Knowledge And Skills Required Demonstrated ability in Contracting & Redlining, demonstrating proficiency in reviewing, editing, and negotiating contractual terms. Ability to interpret complex legal language and ensure accuracy in contract revisions. Process creation and documentation. Strong business, legal and financial acumen with a passion for relationship management and deal shaping. Change management and project management experience and the proven ability to improve and drive operational processes throughout a matrixed organization. Strategic agility and ability to develop long‑term strategic and collaborative relationships across all facets of the organization and with customers. Strong team player with excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills. Self‑motivated, results‑oriented, dedicated, driven, and able to communicate effectively at all levels. Proficient with MS Office suite, such as Word, Excel (VLOOKUP), Outlook, and PowerPoint. Preferred Qualifications Experience within the medical device industry is strongly preferred. Experience with Salesforce.com (case management), SAP, Power BI and QlikView are preferred.
