Provide technical leadership beyond own team. Key Accountabilities Lead development team, deliver solutions, oversee unit testing Provide L2 and L3 support for selected applications Collaborate with LOB TS partners on content of development and design deliverables Communicate project plans, requirements, and changes to all team members Coordinate stakeholder support, develop business cases, focus on reusability and scalability Manage escalated issues and define mitigation strategies Ensure compliance with quality assurance processes and enterprise technology delivery practices Control change to project scope via change management processes Deliver on financial forecasts and benefits targets for application development teams Track costs and manage investment governance within budget Oversee demand management and project intake processes Identify dependencies, risks, and mitigation plans Represent development team in stakeholder meetings and secure senior management buy‑in Define governance structures and processes for operational delivery Provide leadership, technical guidance, and team development Set targets, deliver results, and grow team expertise Create an environment that encourages productivity, innovation, processes, and teamwork Co‑ordinate resources to meet deadlines Coach, develop, and support succession planning for team members Prioritize workload to ensure quality results and timely delivery Promote a positive work environment and effective communication Recommend opportunities to enhance productivity and operational efficiency Establish relationships with business and technology partners, program and project managers Participate in knowledge transfer within the team and business units Experience & Education Undergraduate degree or Technical Certificate Graduate degree and/or 7+ years relevant experience Full‑stack Java developer with experience in Kafka Expertise in bank technology standards, secure authentication (MFA, SSO), and vulnerability scanning tools (Veracode, SonarQube) Experience building REST APIs, Spring container solutions, CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI) and cloud platforms (Azure, VMC2/EDP) Logging and monitoring with Dynatrace Operational strategy planning and execution Advanced understanding of business practices (nice to have) Experience with GitHub Copilot (nice to have) Who We Are TD is one of the world's leading global financial institutions, the fifth largest bank in North America by branches.
