This is a 4-month co-op/internship designed for students who want real-world exposure to construction projects—from the office to the job site.Work Term: May 2026 – August 2026Rate:$20-$25/hour based on experience and qualifications.This role requires a valid G driver’s license and access to a reliable personal vehicle to support travel to job sites. Most travel is local, with occasional provincial travel. Mileage reimbursement is provided.If you’re eager to learn how large-scale road construction projects come together and want hands-on experience that complement your studies, this is the role for you.What You’ll Be DoingAssisting with project planning, scheduling, documentation, and reportingSupporting field teams through site visits, quantity tracking, and daily reportsMonitoring project progress and helping prepare job cost reports for managementTracking costs, purchase orders, and invoicesCoordinating communication between project teams, subcontractors, and suppliersMaintaining accurate and well-organized project files and recordsLiaising with project personnel and conducting on-site visits to clarify scope, timelines, and deadlinesResponding to routine project-related inquiriesQualifications & RequirementsA valid driver’s license and access to your own transportationStrong organizational and time-management skillsThe ability to multitask and manage multiple prioritiesProficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)Clear and effective written and verbal communication skillsA proactive mindset—you anticipate needs and take initiativeAn adaptable approach, comfortable working with diverse teams and personalitiesYou become part of a team you can count on.
