As Project Manager – Renewable Energy, you’ll play a pivotal part in developing, interconnecting and implementing wind, solar and BESS projects, particularly in Québec and the rest of Canada.This position offers a unique opportunity to participate in a growing industry while working in a fun and exciting environment.Responsibilities:Manage successful delivery of transmission, distribution, storage and renewable engineering projectsCollaborate with independent power producers (IPPs), generation developers, power utilities and regulatory bodies to build strong technical solutions and foster long-term relationshipsManage delivery of FEED studies, focusing on value engineering, cost optimization and meeting technical performance project objectivesManage delivery of detailed engineering projectsOffer technical guidance and mentorship to engineering teamsSupport responses to requests for proposals (RFPs), bringing creative ideas and strategic approaches to project developmentHelp ensure projects meet key performance indicators, including cost, schedule, quality and client satisfactionPrepare and deliver presentations for internal and external stakeholders, including senior management, clients and permitting bodiesAssist with other useful duties, as requiredRequirements:Bachelor's degree in engineering with a focus on electrical, mechanical, civil engineering, power disciplines or suitably demonstrated experience working in the power sectorProject engineering or project management experience in the power or infrastructure industriesOver 10 years of experience in the power and infrastructure sectors, renewables, energy consulting or related engineering projectsStrong analytical skills and problem-solvingEffective communication, people and relationship-building skillsFamiliarity with regulatory requirements, codes, standards and best practices relevant to renewables projectsAbility to manage multiple tasks, prioritize workload and meet deadlines in a dynamic work settingWillingness to travel domestically, as neededAdvanced level of English to collaborate effectively with BBA offices and/or clients in English-speaking Canadian provinces and internationallyAdvanced level of French to collaborate effectively with BBA offices and/or clients in QuébecAsset: PMP certification or ongoing commitment to PMPBenefits:Annual base salaryAnnual premium program for regular employeesAccess to a time bankOnsite mobility premiumCellphone programGroup insurance plan starting on day one, including short-term and long-term disability insurance for regular employees and a telemedicine programRetirement saving plan for regular employeesVacation and sick leavePremium offered through the Employee Referral programAbout BBA:For over 40 years, we’ve been pushing the boundaries of engineering to serve our clients in the Energy and Natural Resources sector.
