Black & Company Chartered Professional Accountants Inc., you will be responsible for providing accounting expertise for various client engagements in a variety of sectors and will be involved in both internal and offsite engagements. You will also assist in coaching and developing junior staff and provide mentorship where appropriate and report to the Assurance Partner for all file reviews. Responsibilities Compilation engagement preparation, review and management Corporate tax preparation and consultation Day to day and month end accounting processes Client engagement support and relationship building Consulting in specialty areas Excellent data entry skills and varied business experience Assisting in coaching and developing junior staff Required Skills and Experience Professional Accountant, with 3+ years of relevant experience Proficiency in QuickBooks, Sage, and/or Caseware software Action‑oriented, results‑driven with the ability to work in a team and fast‑paced environment Excellent mathematical and financial skills, with experience in Excel Exceptional priority setting, planning, and problem‑solving skills Ability to multi‑task and manage several responsibilities at once Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy and efficiency Strong communication skills (written and verbal) Confident, reliable and capable of working independently Knowledge of accounting management systems and procedures Proficiency in MS Office The ability to pass a Criminal Record Check Benefits Competitive starting salary with ongoing salary review 30 hour summer work week Extended vacation policy Performance bonuses Comprehensive benefits package Fitness reimbursement program Professional development reimbursement program Opportunity for career development and advancement Corporate social events Employment Details Job type: Full‑time Location: Winnipeg, MB (In person) Work schedule: 30 hour summer work week Start: Starts as soon as possible Vacancies: 1 #J-18808-Ljbffr
