Montreal Lighting & Hardware is looking for a Marketing Director to lead our marketing efforts and drive growth through strategic digital campaigns. If you're an organized, hands-on marketing leader with a deep understanding of digital marketing (paid ads, email marketing, social media) and the ability to hire and oversee the right freelancers, we want to hear from you


This role requires someone who understands each marketing channel well enough to develop effective strategies, evaluate performance, and ensure freelancers deliver quality work. You’ll be responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing all marketing initiatives without directly managing an internal team.

What You’ll Do


  • Develop & Execute Marketing Strategies – Create and implement digital marketing plans to increase brand awareness, drive traffic, and generate leads.
  • Manage Paid Advertising – Oversee Google Ads, Facebook/Instagram Ads, and other PPC campaigns, ensuring cost-effective performance.
  • Email Marketing & Newsletters – Plan and execute email campaigns (Klaviyo), ensuring messaging aligns with company goals and resonates with our audience.
  • Social Media Management – Maintain and grow our presence across Instagram, Facebook, and Pinterest, either directly or by managing freelancers.
  • Website & SEO Optimization – Collaborate with specialists to improve search rankings, user experience, and conversion rates.
  • Performance Analysis – Track, analyze, and report on key marketing metrics, making data-driven adjustments as needed.
  • Freelancer Coordination – Identify, hire, and manage freelance designers, copywriters, and specialists to execute marketing initiatives efficiently.
What We’re Looking For


  • Deep understanding of digital marketing—particularly paid ads, email marketing, and social media—to effectively manage strategy and oversee freelancers.
  • Experience in digital marketing within e-commerce, retail, or home improvement sectors.
  • Hands-on knowledge of Google Ads, Meta Ads, Klaviyo, and SEO best practices.
  • Strong analytical skills – Ability to interpret marketing data and optimize campaigns for better results.
  • Creativity & Initiative – A self-starter who brings fresh ideas and sees projects through to completion.
  • Excellent organization – Ability to manage multiple marketing channels and coordinate freelancers effectively.
  • Interest in home decor, lighting, or interior design is a plus.

Montreal Luminaire & Quincaillerie est à la recherche d’un(e) Directeur(trice) Marketing pour diriger nos efforts marketing et stimuler notre croissance grâce à des campagnes numériques stratégiques. Si vous êtes un(e) leader marketing organisé(e) et proactif(ve), avec une bonne compréhension du marketing numérique (publicités payantes, email marketing, réseaux sociaux) et la capacité de recruter et superviser les bons freelances, nous voulons vous rencontrer


Ce poste nécessite une personne qui comprend suffisamment chaque canal marketing pour développer des stratégies efficaces, évaluer les performances et garantir la qualité du travail des freelances. Vous serez responsable de la planification, de l’exécution et de l’optimisation de toutes les initiatives marketing, sans avoir à gérer une équipe interne directement.

Vos Responsabilités


  • Développer et exécuter des stratégies marketing – Concevoir et mettre en œuvre des plans de marketing numérique pour accroître la notoriété de la marque, générer du trafic et obtenir des prospects.
  • Gérer la publicité payante – Superviser les campagnes Google Ads, Facebook/Instagram Ads et autres PPC, en veillant à leur efficacité.
  • Email Marketing & Newsletters – Planifier et exécuter des campagnes d’emailing via Klaviyo, en assurant une communication efficace et cohérente avec nos clients.
  • Gestion des réseaux sociaux – Développer et animer notre présence sur Instagram, Facebook et Pinterest, directement ou en supervisant des freelances.
  • Optimisation du site web et SEO – Collaborer avec des spécialistes pour améliorer le référencement, l’expérience utilisateur et les taux de conversion.
  • Analyse des performances – Suivre, analyser et rapporter les principaux indicateurs marketing, en ajustant les stratégies si nécessaire.
  • Coordination des freelances – Identifier, recruter et gérer des designers, rédacteurs et autres spécialistes indépendants pour mener à bien les projets marketing.
Profil Recherché


  • Bonne compréhension du marketing numérique, notamment en publicités payantes, email marketing et réseaux sociaux, afin de gérer efficacement la stratégie et superviser les freelances.
  • Expérience en marketing numérique, idéalement dans le e-commerce, le commerce de détail ou le secteur de l’amélioration de l’habitat.
  • Maîtrise des outils marketing comme Google Ads, Meta Ads, Klaviyo et les bonnes pratiques SEO.
  • Compétences analytiques – Capacité à interpréter les données marketing et à optimiser les campagnes en conséquence.
  • Créativité et esprit d’initiative – Une personne autonome qui apporte des idées nouvelles et mène les projets à terme.
  • Excellente organisation – Capacité à gérer plusieurs canaux marketing et coordonner les freelances efficacement.
  • Un intérêt pour la décoration d’intérieur, l’éclairage ou le design est un atout.
