Apply nowSalary: $100KKey ResponsibilitiesClass action proceedingsOrganizing and coordinating the procedural aspects of litigation files from start to finishCoordinating the document discovery processPreparing litigation hold memos/document preservation noticesAssisting clients with document preservation considerationsMaintaining audit and chain of custody logsDocument production includes preparing affidavits of documents, witness briefs, mediation and pre-trial briefs, motion materials and correspondence on a broad range of commercial litigation mattersAssisting counsel with examinations for discoveryManaging electronic data for discovery process and trialManaging document review teams both internally and externallyManaging/overseeing projects with external eDiscovery vendors to ensure projects are completed in a cost-effective mannerReviewing and summarizing transcripts and preparing discovery summariesManaging undertakings and refusalsArranging and participating in meetings with clients and expertsPreparing bills of costs and costs outlinesEnforcing judgments, including preparation of all material and electronic writ filingTrial preparation: preparing trial protocols, and attendance at trialTechnical proficiency with Relativity or any other industry standard litigation support software first pass document review; managing document review workflow for in-house, second pass review by lawyerQualifications10+ years’ experience as a Litigation Law Clerk/eDiscovery SpecialistPossess a Law Clerk Diploma or have successfully completed the Institute of Law Clerk Ontario courses as well as eDiscovery trainingWell versed with Relativity and other comparable platformsIn-depth knowledge of the Rules of Civil ProcedureAbility to work independently and as part of a team, with strong organizational and time management skillsProven ability to handle changing and competing prioritiesSuperior communication skills, both written and verbalTo apply contact:Jennifer Mulliganjennifer@cartelinc.comTagged as: e-Discovery, Law Clerk, Litigation #J-18808-Ljbffr
