In this role, you will be responsible for end-to-end supply chain operations including, procurement, planning, sourcing, shipping and receiving, and inventory management, while driving continuous improvement across systems and processes. This position works closely with Production, Engineering, Finance, Legal, Sales, and Lab Operations in a fast-paced, collaborative environment focused on strong operational execution.What you'll doDevelop and maintain Supply Chain standard operating procedures to improve efficiency and complianceLead, mentor and support Supply Chain staff (Buyers, Shipping and Receiving, and Material Planners)Develop and oversee strategic supply chain initiatives, including supplier risk management, long-term sourcing strategies, capacity planning, and supplier qualification and audit processesBuild and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure quality, cost, and delivery performanceMonitor supplier performance using defined KPIs and drive corrective action when neededNegotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with supplies, fabricators, and logistics partnersPartner with Legal to review contract terms and manage NDAsCollaborate with Finance to ensure adherence to purchasing and accounting policiesSupport domestic and international logistics, including documentation and onboarding of international brokersDevelop and implement inventory optimization and reduction strategiesLead ERP/MRP enhancements and support implementation of new features and processesManage annual physical inventory count and investigate discrepanciesConduct project cost analysis upon request and lead mitigation projects for long lead and high-risk componentsWork with Engineering and Project Leaders to develop demand forecasts and material requirementsAbout YouBachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field or the equivalent experience8+ years of experience in procurements, inventory management, logistics, or supply chain operationsStrong understanding of MRP, ERP, and Multi-Level Bill of Materials (BOM) structuresStrong organizational, analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills, with proven ability to build effective relationships with suppliers and partnersSelf-motivated and detail-oriented, with a proven ability to make informed decisions with limited data and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, results-driven environmentExperience leading cross-functional teamsExperience with international import/export regulations and EHS requirements for material handlingDesired QualificationsExperience with Fiix, NetSuite and Fusion Lifecycle is an assetExperience with Kanban system and FIFO inventory managementBasic technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical componentsExperience developing supplier KPIs and performance management systemsAdditional RequirementsFlexibility to work extended hours during peak periodsAbility to facilitate technical discussions between engineering teams and suppliersWillingness to travel to local vendor sites as neededA D-Waver's DNAWe look at the future and say “why not”; we see possibilities where others see problems or routines.
