**Main Duties and Responsibilities**:
Microsemi Storage Solutions Ltd. is seeking a Product Supply Chain Planner (Operations Product Planner - New Product Introduction) to be the primary interface between Business Unit and Product Engineering and New Product Development and the Manufacturing Supply Chain Organization. The Product Supply Chain Planner will have full ownership of the supply chain for his/her Business Unit and works strategically to ensure that the production needs of the Business Unit are met. The expectation is to work with the Business, Operations Engineering and the Tactical Team to support Production demands.
- Conduct assessments to ensure continuous supply of pre-production & engineering materials to support new product development and customer demands;
- Provide support to Engineering New-Product Development and Release to Production;
- Conduct New Product program development meetings to highlight any operational risks in product launch and First Customer Availability (FCA);
- Create, analyze and maintain Manufacturing Product Codes (MPC), Catalog Part Numbers (CPN) and the Bills of Materials (BOM) to maintain revenue between the product life cycle to End of Life (EOL);
- Provide guidance and support to the Procurement Team to ensure the availability of essential tools and materials for new product builds;
- Provide guidance and support to the Operations Engineering Team on the manufacturing set-up to support internal and customer sample delivery schedules;
- Coordinate and provide advice to outsource vendors on the manufacturing process set up requirements, component supplies and deliverable status to determine efficiency and effectiveness of New Product Introduction (NPI) build executions;
- Analyze forecast vs. backlog differences and taking actions as needed;
- Analyze and propose improvements for operation parameters in Supply Chain Planning (SCP) in Production phase;
- Conduct research and proactively take steps to minimize OCD (Original Commit Date) delivery timelines in order to enhance efficiency in the supply chain processes;
- Provide guidance and support on regulatory policies and procedures for the development of new products;
- Plan and work with the New Product Introduction (NPI )Planner to prepare for new product Production launch;
- Develop and implement improvements to systems and procedures in the supply chain processes, such as the impacts of supplies on backlog;
- Analyze and provide Global Sales Services (GSS) with lead time quotes;
- Analyze planning system exception reports and implement procedures to ensure on time delivery in supply chain inventory;
- Develop shipment forecasts to ensure smooth planning of future supply orders.

**Wage**:
CAD 89,315.20 per annum based on a 40-hour work week. Eligible for annual salary increase consideration and performance-based bonuses.

**Education**:
Diploma in Business Management, or a related field

**Experience and Other Requirements**:

- Minimum 2 years’ experience in planning, order fulfillment or related supply chain operational analyst position;
- Demonstrated experience in developing shipment forecasts;
- Proven knowledge in developing shipping forecasts and identifying issues and recommending resolutions;
- Good understanding of Supply Chain Management and Contract Management principles;
- Strong knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook;
- Effective oral and written communication skills;
- Self-motivated and requiring mínimal guidance;
- Work well in multidisciplinary environment, interacting with various operations team members; and
- Strong problem solving, process oriented & numeric analysis background.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to $89,315.20 per year
