Haakon Industries, a global leader in custom-designed and manufactured HVAC units, is seeking motivated individuals to join our team as Electrical Assemblers. In this role, you will be responsible for wiring and installing electrical systems, as well as ensuring quality in the electrical components of our air handling units. What we offer Competitive Pay: $21.80 - $25.00/hour, based on experience Steady Full-Time Hours: Consistent schedule all year round Climate Controlled Facility: Heated and air conditioned workspace Comprehensive Benefits Package: Employer paid medical, dental, and life insurance Paid Holiday & Wellness Program: Support for physical and mental wellbeing Company Sponsored Events: Enjoy team-building and social activities Boot Allowance: Safety boot reimbursement Career Growth: Opportunities for advancement in a thriving company Respectful and Collaborative Culture: Join a team that values teamwork and mutual respect Your Responsibilities Electrical Panel Assembly: Build and wire electrical panels for HVAC units, ensuring all components meet design specifications Conduit Installation: Install conduit and pull wires for lighting circuits and motor power circuits, following safety protocols Device Installation: Install disconnects, variable frequency drives (VFDs) and other electrical devices Blueprint Reading: Accurately read and interpret blueprints to guide layout, fabrication and wiring Measurement: Use measuring tools to perform mathematical calculations, including converting fractions to decimals, to ensure precision Tool Use: Operate air and electric hand tools efficiently to complete tasks effectively Physical Labour: Work from heights, lift and carry heavy items and maintain a quick, steady pace throughout the shift Independent Work: Perform tasks independently with minimal supervision to meet production goals Team Collaboration: Work effectively in a team environment with strong verbal communication skills Safety & Compliance: Follow all safety protocols, including proper use of PPE and maintain knowledge of ETL and NEC standards Job Type: Wage Range: 21.80-25.00/based on experience Experience: Electrical 1 year (Preferred) Manufacturing 1 year (Preferred) Job Location: Kingston, ON Shifts: Rotating early morning and afternoon shifts (5:45am - 2:15pm and 2:30pm - 12:30am) *reliable transportation required* This job posting is for an existing vacancy.
