OverviewMachine Operator | WeavingSalary Range: $19.00Hours: 5:00am – 3:30pm Monday – Thursday *Fridays OffResponsibilitiesPrepare large industrial machine with proper settings to weave wire in accordance with the required specifications on production orders of wire beltsInterpret production orders, engineering drawingsBasic understanding of machines to perform periodic quality checks, movement of materials, assembly of chain rods and other chain drive componentsPrepare daily quality assurance reports per jobOperation and assembly of mechanical partsCross-train in other departments to broaden the skill set and provide coverageQualificationsAbility to use measuring devices such as tape measures and calipers for exact measurementsWritten and verbal communication skills for reporting and teamworkGreat attention to the smallest details as well as understanding the big pictureInitiative and willingness to grow and cross-train in other departmentsRequirementsHigh school diploma or GED, Vo-Tech or other manufacturing education helpful1-3 years of manufacturing experience preferredPhysical RequirementsWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand and walk most of the time and sit occasionally, read printed materials, operate machines where the job is at or within arm’s reach.Hearing and speech are required to communicate with internal customers in personSpecific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, color vision, ability to adjust focus and possess a normal extended reach using consistent manual dexterityThe employee will exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, 20 pounds of force frequently and 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.The noise level in the work environment is moderate to loud.The employee will be subject to inside environmental conditions where they are protected from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes.Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in a manufacturing environment.Benefits and CompensationRegal Rexnord is committed to providing market-competitive compensation and benefits, maintaining and ensuring a work environment that reflects our Regal Rexnord Values and culture everywhere we operate.
