Scholarship & Special Projects CoordinatorLocation: Saskatoon, SKType: Full TimePosting Date: December 5, 2024Closing Date: February 9, 2025Organization: Gabriel Dumont Institute of Native Studies and Applied ResearchResponsibilities:Manage all aspects of the GDI Scholarship Foundation Trust agreement.Advertise GDI scholarships across various venues targeting students seeking financial awards.Schedule, plan, and record adjudication meetings.Complete detailed selection matrices for decision-making.Prepare reports for the CEO, Board, and scholarship partners.Monitor applications, advise clients on requirements, and follow up on incomplete submissions.Develop new partnerships, scholarships, and awards with industry, government, and private donors.Deliver presentations promoting GDI and the Scholarship Foundation Trust.Coordinate the annual GDI Golf Tournament.Support additional special projects as directed by the CEO.Complete ad hoc reports and represent GDI at meetings, liaising with stakeholders.Perform other duties as assigned by the CEO.Qualifications:Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree.Experience or training in a related field is an asset.Exceptional oral, written, and presentation skills.Familiarity with scholarship and student awards processes.Extensive understanding of Métis culture and community needs in Saskatchewan.Remuneration and Term:Competitive salary and benefits.Term: March 2025 – February 2026, with a strong possibility of renewal.Application Details:Deadline: February 9, 2025Quote competition code 2501 200S when submitting your cover letter and resume.GDI has permission from the Saskatchewan Human Rights Commission to hire affirmatively.
