PLM Systems Support & Deployment AnalystContract Duration: 12 months with a possibility of extensionPay Rate: $50-60/hour as T4 or INC (Negotiable)Job Title: PLM Systems Support & Deployment AnalystPosition OverviewThe PLM Systems Support & Deployment Analyst is a key role designed to bridge the gap between technical teams and frontline support. By proactively addressing recurring issues, leading structured testing, and delivering effective training, this role reduces helpdesk ticket volume and ensures smoother tool deployments. The Analyst will strengthen the feedback loop between users, support, and developers—resulting in more efficient processes, improved system usability, and higher user satisfaction.Why This Role MattersDrives structured regression and user acceptance testing (UAT) for tool changes that impact Data Management workflows.Validates that system changes align with business rules and processes before release.Improves training and documentation consistency to support user adoption of new features.Identifies root causes of recurring issues and feeds insights back to development.Reduces helpdesk tickets by addressing issues through proactive training and process updates.Accelerates tool deployment cycles by minimizing missed requirements and overlooked defects.Ensures higher test coverage with repeatable, well-defined test cases.Strengthens collaboration between users, support, and developers to deliver user-driven enhancements.Key ResponsibilitiesTest Planning & ExecutionDevelop, coordinate, and maintain test plans and test cases for PLM tools.Lead regression and UAT testing during upgrades and new tool implementations.Document and track test results, defects, and resolutions.Tool Deployment & Release SupportPlan and execute deployments, including pre- and post-deployment validation.Support configuration and access validation for staging and production environments.Application Packaging & DeploymentDesign, develop, and test application packages (MSI, PowerShell, VBScript, Batch) using tools like ManageEngine or Microsoft Package Builder.Develop and maintain scripts for installation, uninstallation, and automation tasks.Plan and execute deployments across desktops, laptops, and virtual environments.Training & User SupportCoordinate and deliver end-user training sessions and onboarding.Maintain and digitalize training content for eLearning platforms.Act as liaison between PLM process teams and Level 1/2 support, identifying recurring issues and training needs.Administrative & Process SupportTrack and report on testing and training effectiveness to drive process improvements.Collaborate with helpdesk teams to analyze recurring issues and implement preventative measures.QualificationsEducationBachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.Equivalent experience in PLM systems support, testing, or deployment will be considered.Experience3–5 years of experience with PLM systems (e.g., Teamcenter).Background in software deployment, application packaging, or PLM tool administration.Proven expertise in test planning, UAT, and defect management.Familiarity with configuration/document management workflows in aerospace, automotive, or other regulated industries (preferred).Experience with eLearning platforms.Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.Exposure to ITIL/service management practices.Employment typeContractJob functionEngineering and Information TechnologyIndustriesAviation and Aerospace Component Manufacturing and Engineering ServicesReferrals increase your chances of interviewing at Morson Talent (Canada & USA) by 2xGet notified about new System Support Analyst jobs in Laval, Quebec, Canada. #J-18808-Ljbffr
