The Opportunity The Corporate Strategy Analyst role is to provide critical market insights, evaluate business opportunities and bring day‑to‑day support for strategic initiatives for the organization. This is a hybrid role with flexible onsite expectations, typically 1 to 2 days per week. New employees are expected to be onsite 2 to 3 times a week during their first three months to support onboarding and collaboration. About the Role Support the development of corporate strategies by conducting in-depth market research and competitive analysis. Assist in evaluation of new business opportunities, partnerships, and acquisitions. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to implement strategic initiatives and monitor their progress. Support leadership in strategic decision‑making by working with the Corporate Strategy team to provide helpful insights and data‑driven recommendations. Own ongoing industry and macro environment monitoring including regulatory changes, technological advancements, and economic trends affecting the financial services industry. Support the annual strategic planning cycle, including environmental scans, scenario planning, and goal‑setting exercises. What You Need to Succeed Education Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Economics, or a related field. Experience 2–4 years in management consulting, corporate strategy, investment banking, or a related role/field. Skill Requirements Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas to senior stakeholders. Very strong proficiency in tools such as Excel, PowerPoint. Experience with data visualization software (e.g., Tableau, Power BI). Strategic thinker with attention to detail and a focus on results. Comfortable working in an environment with high degree of ambiguity. Self‑starter with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment. Collaborative team player who thrives in cross‑functional settings. Understanding or experience of the Canadian Financial Services industry would be an asset.
