Accounting Technician - Payroll and Payables PixMob – Montreal, Quebec, Canada. PixMob is a leader in creating immersive experiences for live events, including the Super Bowl and Coldplay concerts. The company designs and develops advanced wireless technologies in‑house, focusing on sustainability and customer collaboration. We are looking for an Accounting Technician to support payroll and payables under the Corporate Controller. Responsibilities Process supplier invoices: verify, record, and manage payments (checks, transfers) within required deadlines. Maintain accurate general ledger entries and obtain necessary approvals before payment. Participate in month‑end bank reconciliations, tax reports, and other period‑end tasks. Assist with year‑end tasks and special mandates in collaboration with the controller. Payroll administration (≈30% of time) Canadian payroll (≈120 employees): ensure timesheet approval, validate special payments (expense accounts, per diems, commissions), transfer information to external payroll processing, generate payroll reports. U.S. payroll (≈3 employees): process payroll in the ADP system, handle time management, compute taxes, issue tax slips. Qualifications College Degree (DEC) in Accounting. 3–5 years of relevant experience, including 1–2 years processing payroll. Proficient in Excel and Office suite. Experience with ADP and Google Sheets is an asset. Fluent bilingual communication (English & French) required. Strong communication skills, team player, meticulous and organized. Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment. Specifics Hybrid work model. Availability may vary across the year.
